Good morning, its 6:40am..alarm went off a few minutes ago. I’m the queen of snooze button. Today I felt excited to stay up and blog. Blogging is a intimate way to post..you get to vent and share your work.

I’ve been trying to do this color blue for quite a while. Practice makes perfect. The first time I used the blue. It came out more green. She came back months later and I bleached the pink she did on her own, I used the blue again and it came out a pretty violet.  She was real happy but it was not the original blue we were shooting for in the beginning.

Last night I shampooed dryed and mixed two different color blues and let her sit with it for almost 30 min…Ta Da!!
If finally came out blue!! She still has the old pink from before which helped in my favor, because it made the color richter.

She is stuck on this blue. I was hoping to try different colors on her, but no. She wanted it blue and so blue here it is. I like the blue myself. The secret I learned was to make sure the hair is freshly shampooed and dried before using the blue and making sure she sat with it for longer than 15 min.

The experience would of been nicer had she sat quietly and let me do my thing but she decided to start barking and enterupt her grandma I and talking a mile a min (loud)..sat in one of the chairs and started spinning like a top. I started to get anxious but just smiled and kept doing hair. She does have some sort of mental thing going on. It’s cool. The whole world seems to be off now a days. But how much do we blame on mental illness or just bad behaviour? It all changed when her mother came in and had a stern talk with her. All of a sudden she got real quiet and behaved. By the time it was  all over I was a sack of nerves.

She’s a teen I’m not sure she knows about respecting the older ones yet. Things are different from when I was growing up. All my mother had to do was give me a look and I knew better.

I’m so looking forward to doing her hair again.. This time I wont give her vanilla latte. I will take a xanax instead… LOL!!!
