I got my hair show ticket today for next month. I go to impress my clients. People need to know that you are updated with the latest styles even though they are scared to try new things. I don’t mind going to the hair show and being in a place full of my people. There is something about a hairstylists that disconnects us from the rest of the world. You would have to see for yourself to understand what I am talking about. The ladies are walking around with the most colorful stylish hair styles ever. There is a certain artsy edge about hairstylists.

Here is my rant. Hair shows were fun and not over priced..classes were free. Now you pay $60 for a one day ticket then pay anywhere from $15 dollars for parking..round about quote. Now when you buy a hairshow ticket you have to activate your ticket on line, after you active your ticket you have to get in a slow line at the hairshow and activiate a wrist band. It doesn’t end there…after you go through this annoying process if you buy any Moroccan oil products they take pictures of EACH product you buy along with a picture of your drivers license and hair license. They act like we are in the whitehouse. Honestly I can learn more from YouTube and Instagram than having to go through this mental tribulation. Now I understand why they have lil’ bars all around the hairshow. You need something to take the edge from all that drama. Classes are no longer free. They can go up to $100 dollars..ummm no! How am I supposed to buy products and learn when your jacking the prices like a lawyer. I noticed less people are going each year. Something about greed and control ruined the fun of it.
