Before I begin to blog I want to thank you so much for following my page. I truly appreciate you. Really I do. I check my notifications the same way a lover checks their mail hoping for that love letter to come in the mail.

Today I went to the 99 cent store and bought eyelashes and a collagen mask. I barter with a friend of mine she does my amazing facials and I do her hair. But do to our work schedules she won’t have anytime to see me till February. I am on a budget right now and I am running out of mascara..a good mascara can go up to $25 bucks. I figured its cheaper to wear 99 cent eyelashes and keep practicing how to apply them instead of buying the mascara today. Here is a tip I learned on how to apply fake eyelashes. Apply the glue on the lashline instead of the eyelashes. That way you don’t get glue all inside your eyes and look like Tammy Faye when your done. I can’t wait to wear my eyelashes tomorrow. Let’s see how that goes. I will also give myself a facial…can’t wait to try on the mask!!👍

Today I felt like a kid in a candy store. I am learning how to shop. I’ve always Been big spender because I had it like that. I went from sitting on top of the world to sitting on top of the curb. I use to do hair for music videos at one time. I made a grand a day back in the day in the hair salon. All that changed when the economy flipped out in 2009. I lost many clients. I felt too bad to raise my prices when I deserved it out of fear that I would loose more clients who could not afford to get their hair done anymore. It permeated into a big snowball. Everything kept going up up and up and my prices stayed the same. It took a toll on my lifestyle and I came crashing down like a bad domino effect. I am just now getting back on my feet thanks to social media. I’ve been working like a mule. I am getting new clients. I spent only $12 bucks at the 99 cent store on water, three toothpastes, facial mask and eyelashes. Had I gone somewhere else I wouldn’t have gotten any change back. Here’s the thing. While things get worse you just have to become more creative and learn how to shop. If you ask me its fun searching for a deal. Back in the day I would just open my wallet and pay with no questions. Even if I come back to sitting on top of the world again.. I will continue to look for a bargain. I’ve learned from my lessons. Save, shop smart and hang out at the 99 cent store, its a world of treasures👌💕💖👋
