I pay a small price of annoyances for working in a salon that hasn’t raised my rent price. I have access to a washer and dryer and its walking distance to Cosmoprof, it’s the name of the store were professional stylist buy our products.

I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing, or what, but the owner of the salon boils my skin somethings. She is the nicest giving person.. But the things that come out of her mouth floors me. She is from Taiwan. Maybe its just her personality.. The rest of my Chinese coworkers are cool. The girl in the picture is my adopted daughter. No papers have been signed but she is like my daughter. I hadn’t seen her in a while because her controling ex boyfriend did not want her to wear makeup or get her hair done by me. I knew it would be a matter of time that they would break up. Well they did. Ashley is super depressed and her ex is abusing her emotionaly…she cuts herself. She came in yesterday to come see me. She is one of my social media models. Well guess what the owner of the salon does. She goes up to Ashley and tells her: “Why you look so old now, why you look like that, why you look so skinny, why you don’t get a job. Very blunt, very sharp questions Ashley’s eyes start to water. I try to diffuse the conversation to no avail. I don’t think May means harm but her mouth can be destructive. You know the saying mess with me but don’t mess with my family.

She did the same thing to me when she found out that I did not charge Susan Mellen the wrongly convicted woman who did 17 years in prison. She snapped at me and said: “Why you no charge her??!!! ….Why should I? Why do you care who I charge. It’s not your business I pay my rent on time. Everything in life is NOT about MONEY.

I’m in the back room taking deep breaths. She’s annoying me today and so I decided to vent in secret back here on my blog and not show a sour puss face. I like working here. The ambiance is good I’m in a good location.. But its a small price I gotta pay😁

I did Ashley’s make over last night. Hair and makeup. How does it look?
