I went to the hairshow dispite the lingering flu I have and my mom still being at the hospital. I don’t know if my naggin had anything to do with how good the hair show was this year. The last time I went I was so disappointed they acted like we were going to the moon. They were taking pictures of our hair and business license…even took pictures of the morocon oil stuff I bought…let’s not forget pictures of my drivers license. Come on…ain’t no body got time for all that. I want to learn and shop and peace. I spent money I did not have. I’m just going to have to work like a mule for the next couple of weeks to make up for it. I got new Andis hair trimmers. My peanut trimmers broke and I was too embarrassed to post pictures of me using them on social media. I mean who cares right? But since we live in a VISUAL world..everything has to look good. Its a about appearances. I had no problems where I work until I started to see how really nice the barber shops and salons are on Instagram. The stylists work in really nice edgy places. Here I am working in a salon with the worse florescent lights and it looks like a senior citizen camp on  Fridays and Saturdays..it makes me want to play bingo. Is that bad. Do I switch salons now or wait till I really blow up? I’m busier than ever..new clients weekly its a good thing.

Even if I don’t become a famous celebrity stylist I am so glad that we are getting the respect we deserve. Guy Tang and Larissa Doll are known around the world. They are stars in the hair world. People were chasing them taking pictures of them at the hair show. How cool is that?! They are doing segments on radio stations and talked about in magazines. I’m happy for them. For now I’m making myself know in Torrance. No one is chasing me yet but for now I’m booked until march…and I’m okay with that💕💕💕💕
