I discovered Philip Wolff last month on Instagram. He’s a a famous celebrity stylist..he’s worked on keeping up with the Kardashians, he’s done Halle Barry’s hair done movies tv shows and hairshows. He has his own line of scissors. He’s now worth millions. I’m elated for him I didn’t think I would see the day when hairstylists were going to be respected. Back when I got out of beauty college stylist were considered the uneducated hired help…I told you the story here before when one time my client showed up so upset when her son proposed to his fiance. She was upset that he was going to marry a hairstylist. She felt her son deserved to be with a girl with higher education, a girl with a master’s degree. Like seriously she’s telling me this when I’m about to do her hair..now how do you think that made me feel?..At this point in time stylists are making much more than attorneys. I have a few famous stylist following my Instagram and they support and appreciate my work. ..when they press the like button and make a comment it gives me the biggest boost!! After 30 years of me doing hair we finally have a voice..we finally got the respect that is owed to us. Finally finally…that is one of the best feelings ever. You can’t go on stage without you hairstylist behind the curtain ❤🙈🙌💇👏
